FOUR EXCITING CHANGES TO TMC ORIENTATION

We have made some exciting changes in the past couple of weeks to improve the orientation experience for all new hires! These improvements are all a result of input from our drivers. While we can’t always grant every wish, we definitely do take the time to review their comments and suggestions. It’s this philosophy and commitment to excellence that allows our drivers to enjoy one of the very few truly performance driven pay programs in the industry. The four changes we’ve made are listed below…

1.) TMC has always utilized rental car transportation as a means to getting new hires back home after orientation before meeting up with their trainers. Now, we are taking that one step further. We are incorporating rental cars in lieu of buses as much as practically possible when bringing new hires to orientation.

2.) Training pay was increased for student drivers and is now $500 per week for everyone. (It was $400/week for the orientation and $425/week for the over-the-road training for students.)

3.) Pay advances are now available each Wednesday of orientation to those who may be in need of a little jumpstart.

4.) We have now equipped all the driver rooms in the hotel with refrigerators and microwaves are soon to follow.

Lunch and lodging during the orientation will continue to be provided, as well as transportation to Wal-Mart once a week for drivers to pick up groceries or other items they desire. Read more about the training program on the website here, or by visiting our training department website: www.tmctrainingcenters.com.

If you are looking for a career and not just a job, we are an employee-owned company and we encourage you to give TMC careful consideration when making your employment choice! Call today with any questions at 800-247-2862.
